Signings we handle
Refinances and HELOCs, purchase closings for buyers or sellers, seller-only packages, cash transactions, loan modifications, deed and title transfer packages, and reverse mortgage packages by arrangement.
We sign at the borrower's home, workplace, hospital, or our Beaverton office, and we schedule evenings and weekends because that's when most borrowers are available.
For out-of-state title companies
If your closing is in Oregon or southwest Washington and your office isn't, we're the local hands. We accept assignments directly or through your signing service, follow your instructions and your closing platform, and return the package the way you specify.
We're commissioned in both Oregon and Washington, so one vendor covers both sides of the Columbia River. That matters for offices working Portland and Vancouver in the same week.
How a signing runs
You send the package. We print it on a dual-tray printer so letter and legal pages come out at the correct size, confirm the appointment with the borrower, and verify their photo ID at the table.
We direct the borrower through every signature and initial, catch missed signatures and dates before we leave, and notarize the pages that require it. We scan back key pages when you ask, then drop the package with the carrier the same day and send you the tracking number.
What we do not do at the table
We don't explain loan terms, interpret documents, give legal or financial advice, or answer questions about rates, fees, or payoff figures. Those questions go back to you, the lender, or the escrow officer, and we're clear with borrowers about that.
We notarize and we direct the signing. That boundary protects your file as much as it protects us.
Notary fees and signing fees
Oregon caps notarial acts at $10 each and Washington at $15. The signing fee is a separate service fee for travel, printing, the appointment itself, and shipping. We quote the whole thing up front so there are no surprises on your invoice.
Working with us the first time
Send your vendor packet and we'll return whatever your onboarding requires, including a W-9 and our credential documents. Tell us your preferred platform, your scan-back rules, and who to call if something at the table doesn't match the file.
For a first assignment, give us the closing instructions and the borrower's contact details and we'll confirm the appointment within the hour during business hours.

Questions about loan signing services
Are your signing agents certified?
Yes. Both of our notaries are NNA Certified Signing Agents, and both are commissioned in Oregon and Washington.
Do you accept assignments from out-of-state title companies?
Yes. We take assignments directly or through your signing service for closings anywhere in the Portland metro and Vancouver, Washington. Call (971) 514-3743 or email info@oregonapostillefingerprintingnotary.com to start onboarding.
Can you sign in both Oregon and Washington?
Yes. Sarah holds notary commissions in both states, so one vendor covers Portland metro closings and Vancouver and Clark County.
Do you print the documents?
Yes, and printing is included in the $175 fee. We print on a dual-tray printer so letter and legal pages come out at the correct size, and we bring borrower and lender copies as your instructions require.
Do you provide scan-backs?
Yes, included. Tell us which pages you need and we'll scan and send them before the package ships.
How fast do documents ship back?
Same day whenever the signing finishes before the carrier cutoff. You get the tracking number as soon as it's dropped.
Will you explain the loan documents to the borrower?
No. We direct the borrower through the package and notarize, but we don't explain terms, rates, or fees. Those questions go to the lender or escrow officer.
What does a signing cost?
$175 per signing, which includes printing the package, the appointment, and same-day shipping. Volume rates are available for regular work, and long-distance travel is quoted separately. Call (971) 514-3743.
Can you do evening or weekend signings?
Yes. Most borrowers sign after work, so evenings and weekends are normal for us.
