Why I started this business
Getting a document accepted in another country usually means dealing with several offices, and each one only tells you about its own step. You get a certified copy, then learn it needed a notary first. You send it for an apostille, then the consulate asks for a translation nobody mentioned. Every correction costs another week.
That is frustrating on its own. It is much worse when a visa interview, a job start date, or a family matter is waiting on the other end.
In 8 years as a notary, I have helped a lot of people untangle exactly that. I started this business to handle the whole process in one place: we check your document against the receiving office's requirements before it goes anywhere, give you the price and the return date up front, and take care of each step ourselves.
Where I come from, and the languages I speak
I'm originally from France, and I work with clients in English, French, Hindi, and Arabic. Kauser works with clients in Hindi, Urdu, and Arabic.
Between us that covers a lot of the paperwork that comes through this office: Indian and Pakistani records, Gulf attestation files, and documents headed to France and francophone Africa. If your document is in a language neither of us reads, we prepare a certified translation through our translators.
What we do
We handle the whole chain of paperwork for documents going abroad: notarization, certified translation, fingerprinting and FBI background checks, apostille and authentication courier service, passport photos, and international shipping.
Doing it all under one roof means you don't chase four businesses and four deadlines. We confirm the order the receiving country requires, tell you what to bring, and give you a return date before we start.
Certified by the State of Oregon
We're certified through Oregon's Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and an Emerging Small Business (ESB), Certification #13409. Public agencies, hospitals, and universities can verify us in the COBID Certified Vendor Directory and count our work toward contracting goals.
How we work
I'm a notary, not an attorney, and this is not a government agency. I can't give legal or immigration advice or decide what your document should say. What I can do is check it against the receiving office's requirements before it goes out, handle every step correctly, and keep you updated while it's out of your hands.
If a document comes back rejected because of a mistake on our end, we fix it at no extra charge. That promise is easy to make because we check the work before it leaves.
Where we work
Our office is at 2644 SW 178th Ave in Beaverton, near Aloha, Hillsboro, and Tigard. We also travel for mobile appointments across Washington, Multnomah, Clackamas, and northern Yamhill counties, including Portland, Lake Oswego, Tigard, Hillsboro, and Gresham.
I'm commissioned as a notary public in both Oregon and Washington, so I can also notarize in Vancouver and Clark County. Same-day appointments are available.
Part of Pac Signing LLC
Oregon Apostille Fingerprinting Notary is a subsidiary of Pac Signing LLC. That gives us a wider office network for appointments and more people to call on when a job is large or a deadline is tight.
The work is still done by our own team. Nothing is handed to a call center, and your documents do not leave our hands unless you ask us to ship them.
Questions about our business
What languages do you speak?
Sarah works with clients in English, French, Hindi, and Arabic. We also provide certified translations in many other languages through our translation service.
How long have you been a notary?
Sarah has been a notary public for 8 years.
Are you licensed in Washington too?
Yes. Sarah holds notary commissions in both Oregon and Washington, so we can notarize on either side of the Columbia River.
Are you a government agency?
No. We're an independent private business. Apostilles, background check results, and government documents are issued only by government agencies, and you can request many of these services directly from them.
Are you attorneys?
No. We're notaries, not attorneys, so we can't prepare legal documents, complete immigration forms, or give legal advice.
What are your certifications?
COBID-certified by the State of Oregon as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and an Emerging Small Business (ESB), Certification #13409.
When are you open?
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Closed Sunday.
Are you certified for supplier diversity programs?
Yes. We are woman-owned and minority-owned, and COBID-certified as an MBE and ESB under Oregon Certification #13409, which public agencies and prime contractors can count toward diversity goals.
Who will I be working with?
One of our four notaries. Sarah and Devin work across all three offices, Kauser covers Hillsboro, and Nooriyah covers Lake Oswego. Call (971) 514-3743 and we'll tell you who is available and where.
